Last Sunday, I had the privilege (and honor, no less) of shooting an engagement session with one of my wedding photographers, Michelle Rose, and the one and only Maria Vicencio. I nearly peed my pants.

Me and Michelle hard at work :)
Both of these women are super talented. Michelle and her blondes did a beyond fabulous job capturing Drew and my wedding. She is so knowledgable and business savvy...and always has time for a question. I'll be second shooting a wedding this weekend with her, plus another wedding in May - I am so excited to learn from her!
Maria is a fun new friend, a great photographer and one of the nicest people I have ever met (seriously, Michelle and I talked about it on the way home). She is severely talented behind the lens, and don't even get me started on her Photoshop abilities! I met Maria through my ninja-like stalking abilities (see her blog for the story) and she has been such a blessing to me. Pretty much everything I know about lenses and manual shooting has come from Maria. She and her husband Drew are shooting me and my family in a couple of weeks and I can't wait to be one of her clients!
Maria grabbed some shots of me in Starbucks...I was more than excited to be in front of her lens. :)

Michelle and Maria, thank you for humoring a very inquisitive newbie, challenging me with your talent and ideas, and for your friendship. I'm looking forward to hanging out with you both again in May!
P.S. I'll be posting some of my shots of the couple we shot, Erin and Taylor, who were wonderful to be around themselves, a little later this week!
